It sets a new bar in the flight training industry with its attention to detail, easy to understand explanations and content that goes the extra mile in preparing the educator or the student for their practical test. As a former CFI, I cannot recommend it enough!

The number one question I get when scheduling a checkride with an applicant is “is there anything in particular I should study before the ride?” I hate to sound flippant, but the only honest answer I can give is “The ACS. The ACS is the checkride.” But of course, there is so much more to it than that. Answers to the ACS does a fantastic job of drawing together all the pertinent information in a much more interesting and reader‑friendly manner than the FAA source documents. Nobody likes a check ride, but at least with Answers to the ACS you don't have to wonder if there's something else you should have studied.

This book is a wonderful asset for students to prepare for their checkride. It follows the ACS task by task and gives a ton of detailed information on each subject. Students can use this as study material while CFIs can use this to help make sure they cover everything the student should know. It also serves as a good refresher for CFIs and you could even learn a thing or two from this author! I highly recommend this material for any CFI or student if you want to have a good edge on your checkride!

I also met the author while going through training at my airline. He even ended up being my captain for my checkride. Couldn’t have asked for a better person! I used his books to help teach my students and in the end he helped me pass my first Part 121 checkride. What a guy!

I got this book to help students. This book has helped students keep their studies organized as it breaks down the Private Pilot ACS in a very organized, structured way. Not only did this book help students, it also helped me out tremendously. It broke down technical areas that brought my knowledge to a new level. Everything written hits all the big points that DPEs look for in the check ride plus goes another level deeper. The level this book gets to is very helpful for even a commercial or CFI level. I would recommend this book to anyone who is going through pilot training for any check ride. I wish I had this when I was a student myself.

I used this book solely for my oral exam and loved how in depth everything was. The pictures were detailed and easy to pick up. Overall, I’m going to get the Commercial and Instrument when it comes out (hopefully soon!).

I remember when I was a student pilot just how confusing the ACS was and how it was worded. This book solves all the confusion behind the ACS, it dumbs down the wording but at the same time hits every task with detail and simplicity. Excellent idea I wish I had this when I was a student pilot! I make all my students get it before checkrides and can’t wait for the instrument book to come out for my instrument students!

The depth of information this book brings draws me in the most… It’s presented with neat organization, and easy to read. Although long, this book spans as a necessity from private all the way to CFI’s… It’s worth the money and I highly recommend.
